On Friday, 18th October at 6 pm, the Russian Choir of the Sverdlovsk Children’s Philharmony “Chapel of Boys and Young Men” from Yekaterinburg will perform at the National Theater in Nis.

The choir was founded in 1979 by the famous choir master Larissa Balter, and this year the choir famous in Russia, and far beyond its borders, celebrated its 40th anniversary.

In the meanwhile, the ensemble has built a world renown and is known as one of the finest vocal ensembles of boys and young men.

During this time, they visited Germany, Japan, Belgium, France, the Netherlands, Greece, Russia, Ukraine. They came all the way to Chile.

At the special invitation of the Russian House, the choir first came to Serbia in 2016 and on that occasion performed the works of Sviridov, Russian and Western spiritual music, folk songs, as well as contemporary choral compositions.

Tickets for the concert are free of charge and can be collected at the box office of National Theater in Niš from Monday, October 14th or just before the beginning of the concert.
