Announcement regarding the postponement of the festival “Theatre at the Crossroads”

Dear Madams and Sirs,

The National Theater in Nis informs you that the second international festival “Theatre at the Crossroads”, which was supposed to take place in its permanent term from March 11 to 19, 2021, has been postponed due to the uncertain situation with the pandemic and will take place in the period from September 6 to 13, 2021, when we all expect safer conditions for the organization of such a large event for the entire region. From 2022, the festival will continue to be held according to the established date in March.

The National Theater in Nis is making the highest efforts to keep the concept of the festival unchanged in these new circumstances for all theaters and performing arts in the common Balkan cultural space, and that all already selected performances will be on the planned program of “Theatre at the Crossroads”.

The new Council of the festival will be announced on March 11, 2021, on the Day of the National Theater in Nis.

The regular program activities of the Nis theater will run unhindered, according to the already announced program.
