Miroljub Nedovic, actor of National Theater in Nis, received the Best Actor Award at the just-performed, international theater festival of the comedy “Naked Moonlight” in Skopje.
Award for Best Actor, has been awarded for his role in the play “The Duchess of the Folies Bergeres”, directed by Jug Radivojevic.
The awards were presented by a three-member expert jury of the festival consisting of: Sanja Krstovic actress of the National Theater in Nis, Milan Pajic actor from Belgrade, and Ljupco Petrushevsky actor from Skopje.
This year, the international festival was held for the sixth time, ran 7 days, with theaters from Skopje, Ohrid, Kumanovo, Strumica, Nis and Zagreb presenting.
It is organized by the Comedy Theater and sponsored by the Airport Municipality and its Mayor.
Minister of Culture of the Republic of Northern Macedonia, Mr. Husni Ismaili, who also presented awards for the best play and directing was present at the award ceremony.
The author team of the play, in addition to the director, includes the production designer Aleksandar Denic, costume designer Tatjana Radisic, composer Aleksandar Srebric, scenic movement director and assistant director Igor Damnjanovic, assistant production designer, Danilo Mladenovic and assistant costume designer Katarina Filipovic.
In addition to the award-winning Miroljub Nedovic, the play stars: Snezana Petrovic, Dragoslav Savic, Aleksandar Krstic, Katarina Arsic, Milos Cvetkovic, Miroslav Jovic, Marko Pavlovski, Stefan Mladenovic, Vesna Stankovic, Dragisa Veljkovic, Marjan Todorovic, Zorica Damjanovic, Danilo Petrovic, and guest actors Milutin Veskovic, Dejan Gocic, Uros Milojevic, Viktorija Arsic, Kristina Tomic and Bratislava Milic.
The show had its successful premiere in Nis on May 14, 2019.
