Concert “Pearls of Classical Music” and exhibition „Free Your Mind“ in the Night of the Museum

As part of the program of the Night of the Museum, on Saturday, May 18, 2019, the National Theatre in Niš, in cooperation with the Metropolitan University, organizes an exhibition titled “Free Your Mind”, which opens at 4 p.m. and closes exactly at midnight.

A symbiosis of modern digital art and traditional art techniques will be shown by means of the visual content that will be presented by students at the Museum Night. The students of the Faculty of Digital Arts from the Department of Graphic Design were assigned a free theme from which a number of concepts emerged resulting in the creative name of the exhibition itself “Free Your Mind”.

The citizens can visit the exhibition at the National Theatre in Niš and the entrance is free.

On the same occasion, the National Theatre Niš participates in the organization of the concert “Music Monogram: Pearls of Classical Music”, which will be performed at the Mediana archaeological site starting at 6 pm. The National Museum Niš organizes this concert in cooperation with the Faculty of Arts of the University of Niš, and with the logistical support from the National Theatre Niš, Sports Centre Čair, as well as the Catering and Tourism School in Niš and Malča Winery.

Entrance to Mediana is possible only with the tickets available free of charge in the facilities of the National Museum Niš – the Archaeological Hall and the Skull Tower on Thursday and Friday, from 9 am to 7 pm. Entrance to Mediana, on Saturday, May 18^th is exclusively from 5.15 pm to 5:50 pm.
