Today, the National Theater in Nis marks 134 years of theatrical life in Nis!

The constellation of great Serbian actors, directors and artists has left a part of themselves on the Nis theater stage, just as the loyal audience makes us proud of the trace we leave all these years. We owe a great deal of gratitude to them and the city of Nis for supporting our house. We are happy because with our existence and work we send a magnificent image far away and that in the eyes of true theater lovers we are one of the cultural symbols of the city of Nis.
