“The play follows the life of a girl (embodied by Nataša Dangubić) whose growing up is a symbolic copy of the maturation of the Croatian state. The inextricable merging of the personal and political element in the pursuit of happiness is called into question in the complex relations within the family and beyond with the historical transformations that Croatia has undergone over the past a bit over a hundred years.

To the crucial question – Is this where Croatia finds itself today happiness at all? – the play responds with a challenge, a song by a Serbian poet Dušan Radović “The Conquest of Happiness” and a message: We are left alone, with Hope. (author: E. K. / Hina, source: tportal.hr).

Duration of the performance is 1 hour and 10 minutes.
