The show “The Decameron” at “RUTA” festival

The play “the Decameron” by Giovanni Boccaccio, directed by Dejan Projkovski, will be performed at the regional theater festival “RuTa” on October 4 at 8:00 p.m. in the Skopje Drama Theater. The second edition of this festival brings ensembles of leading theater institutions from the region that are also members of the Regional Union of Theaters, including the City Theater Podgorica.

This exceptional co-production is the result of the cooperation of the National Theater in Niš with the Bar Cultural Center and the City Theater Podgorica.

Set in the cruel time of 1348, the play takes us into a world of social isolation, where survival is the only imperative.

Actors Miloš Pejović, Sanja Krstović, Omar Bajramspahić, Vanja Jovićević, Dušan Kovačević, Maja Vukojević-Cvetković, Pavle Popović, Una Lučić, Stefan Vuković, Lara Dragović, Evgenija Stanković, Dragana Jovanović and Dragiša Veljković star in the show.
