The show “Hero of the Nation” in Kruševac Theatre

The National Theater in Niš is guest performing at the Kruševac Theater on March 21 at 8 pm with the performance “Hero of the Nation”.

The play was written by Ivan M. Lalić, and directed by Spasoje Ž. Milovanovic.

Stage and costume designer is Milica Bajić Đurov, and composer is Katarina Šandor.

The play features: Dragan Boža Marjanović, Snežana Petrović, Uroš Milojević, Jovana Golubović and Dragiša Veljković.

 

“Hero of the Nation” deals with the degradation of the family, that is, its opening to the public eye, up to the disorientation of the individual. On the one hand, the text tries, if not to penetrate, then to point out the consequences of experimenting with the fragility of the human psyche, the desire for quick fame and the privileges of such fame, as a rule, resulting from the metastasizing of chaos and violence in society. On the other hand, although it deals with the questioning of the desire of the media to be equal to reality, to replace it, and even to be more real than reality, it also gives indications of the possibility of theater creating a new reality that draws in and exposes the curiosity in audience for the abolition of the border between public and private.
