The National Theater in Nis announces the performance of the play “In Whose Name”, for Thursday, September 10, starting at 8:30 PM, on the Summer Stage in the Fortress.

The play is written by Aleksandar Mihailovic, directed by Milan Karadzic.

“In Whose Name” is a true dramatic story about the actors of the National Theater who were shot, after the liberation of Nis in 1944. It speaks in a warm and lively way about the suffering of a small, ordinary man who is trying to survive in the whirlwind of great social and political changes. The eternal dilemma about the choice of side, but also the freedom of artists to fight for art in turbulent times, is a topic that strongly corresponds to the time we live in, depicting the model according to which changes in this region are being established for more than half a century. ”

The ticket price is 300 dinars and can be purchased every day at the box office of the theater from 10 am to 8 pm, as well as on the day of the performance on the Summer Stage in the Fortress, from 19:30 to 20:30.
