Milena Marković’s play the Doll Ship, directed by Iva Milošević, will be performed at the fourth edition of the “Muci’s Days” Theater Play Festival in Atelier 212 on Saturday, 20 January at 8 p.m.

This play raises the question of realizing the authenticity and completeness of the personality in a world that imposes predetermined patterns of action. Through a de/illusionist approach to fairy-tale elements, the author explores the themes of growing up, maturing and decaying of the play’s heroes, using motifs from different fairy tales as a metaphor for life paths.

Ana Mandić, Evgenija Stanković, Snežana Petrović, Bratislava Milić, Vesna Stanković, Dragiša Veljković, Uroš Milojević, Danilo Petrović, Stefan Mladenović, Andrija Mitić, Aleksandar Krstić, Marko Pavlovski, Marko Radojević and Natalija Jović star in the play.

The “Muci’s Days” festival is dedicated to one of the most respected directors of the former Yugoslavia, Ljubomir Muci Draškić, and this year’s edition of the festival will mark the 20th anniversary of the passing of Muci Draškić.
