National Theater Niš, on Tuesday, February 19, 2019. is visiting Zvezdara Theater with the play “Limunation”, by Dušan Kovačević, directed by Nebojša Bradić.
The performance was premiered on the scene of the Niš Theater, December 1, 2019. and since then has provoked great interest of the Niš audience.
Beside directing, Nebojša Bradić was in charge of scenography, Marina Vukasović Medenica for costumes, the composer was Zoran Erić, and Vera Obradović is in charge of the stage movement.
Dejan Cicmilovic, Dragana Jovanovic, Danilo Petrovic, Aleksandar Marinkovic, Aleksandar Mihailovic, Sanja Krstovic, Dragoslav Savic, Miroslav Jovic, Stefan Mladenovic, Miroljub Nedovic, Marko Pavlovski, Marjan Todorovic, Katarina Mitic, Katarina Arsic, Uros Milojevic and Dejan Gocic.
“Limunation is not Sremc’s story about a teacher who comes to the hamlet village full of the final phrases of European social democracy and the passage of our nineteenth-century agitation and demagogy, but Kovacevic’s defiant image of our nature and customs that extend to the present day. Since there is a continuing decline in trust in institutions, new national tribunes have the goal of exercising national aspirations in the executive power. They are there to make somebody “make the day better,” as suggested by the suggestive hero in Dirty Harry. “-
