On June 7, the performance In Whose Name of the National Theater in Nis, based on the text by Aleksandar Mihailovic, directed by Milan Karadzic will participate at the festival “Petar Kocic” in Banja Luka.
This year’s XXII Theater Fest takes place from June 1 until June 8, at the National Theater of Republic Srpska’s venue, with theater performances from the whole region.
At Banja Luka’s theater venue, the audience will be able to see the performances in competitive selection: Almond Tree Grew For Me (Raslo mi je badem drvo) of the Belgrade Drama Theater, Tartuffe (Tartif) co-production of Serbian National Theater in Novi Sad and National Theater Sombor, and the Member of Parliament (Narodni poslanik) of the Oxzgen Production from Sarajevo and the Bosnian Cultural Center, until June 8, when the awards ceremony and closing of the festival are scheduled, The Kerempuh Satirical Theater in Zagreb with the piece Speak Louder! (Govori glasnije!) as well as the National Theater in Nis with the play In Whose Name (U cije ime) will present themselves to the citizens of Banja Luka.
In addition to the competition, an important segment of the festival is the accompanying program, which will also include the Third Festival of Monodrama by a Young Actor, and book and magazine promotions, a professional scientific conference, as well as an exhibition.
