Doubt can be as strong and stable as safety, is a motto that stretches through the play, which was written in 2003, but is current again. “Did he do it or not? Is he guilty or not? Doubt can be as strong and stable as safety. However, in the play “Doubt” written by John Patrick Shanley’s, it’s not just a matter of doubt or belief in whether it’s true or not, but a question of conflicts of different principles: class, racial, male and female, progressive and conservative, facts and emotions … Through doubts and assumptions, the author relentlessly leads the story towards the climax and the final clash of the two main characters, that is, the two principles. Is Sister Aloysius just a monster destroying an innocent man with her doubts and fears for undermining her authority? Or, is Father Flynn a predator who got out of it on account of the church hierarchy of male power? Each of the two of them has arguments behind which he or she stands firmly, but who will be the winner? “Tijana Grumić, a dramaturge.

The tickets for the play can be purchased at the theatre ticket office at a price of 300 RSD (parterre) and 250 RSD (balcony).
