Guest performance of National Theater in Nis in Arad

William Shakespeare’s play “Аs You Like It”, directed by Nikita Milivojevic (co-produced by the National Theater in Nis, Krusevac Theater and Nisville Jazz Theater Festival), participated at the 25th International „FITCA 25“ Theater Festival in Arad, Romania.

Theaters from Hungary and Romania participated, and the National Theater in Nis was the only representative of Serbia.

The performance was attended by Consul General of the Republic of Serbia in Timisoara Mr. Vladan Tadic who welcomed our ensemble, and on behalf of City of Nis, Counciler for Culture Ms. Jelena Mitrovski, and Ms. Aleksandra Radosavljevic Culture Secretary.

This was the first participation of our theater at one of the most prestigious cultural events in Romania.

By participating in the Arad Festival, the beginning of cultural cooperation between Arad and Nis was established.
