After the Zorans Mustache award for the best actor was awarded to Aleksandar Mihailovic for the role of the King in the play “1789” at the “Days of Zoran Radmilovic” festival in Zajecar, the National Theater in Nis also brought home the audience award for the best play at the festival! According to the votes of the audience, the play “1789”, written and directed by Hadi Kuric, was declared the best, and was rated with an average grade of 9.24. The order from the second to the last place looks like this:

  1. “Ugly, Dirty, Evil”, Belgrade Drama Theater – 9.08
  2. “Why does Herr R. Run Amok?”, Yugoslav Drama Theatre, Belgrade – 8.90
  3. “Smederevo 1941”, Serbian National Theatre, Novi Sad – 8.6
  4. “This one will be different”, Atelje 212, Belgrade – 8.43
  5. “Women from Troy”, National Theater of Timocka Krajina “Zoran Radmilovic”, Zajecar, National Theater in Pristina – 7.89
  6. “Comedy with developmental disabilities”, City Theater “Semberija”, Bijeljina, Republic of Srpska – 6.93

The best play of the 3rd Festival of Small Theater Forms is “Doctor Feller” performed by Dragan Bozo Marjanovic, both by the selection of the expert jury and by the audience.

On this occasion, we congratulate the ensemble of the play, the director Hadi Kuric, the Genera Manager of the National Theater, Spasoje Z. Milovanovic, as well as all employees in the Nis theater, on another valuable award!
