On Sunday June 9, the American dance group Mystic Ballet “Dark Room Exposure” will be guest performing at the National Theater in Nis.
Namely, this is a collection of selected vignettes from the repertoire that Mystic Ballet artists present in their Mystic Dark Room Theater. With its unique program over the last two years, this troupe has become a major attraction not only in Mystic and Connecticut, but also on the territory of New England, including New York and Boston. According to the ranking of Trip Advisor and audience criticism, it ranks as the number one theater / performance in the region.
The guest appearance in Serbia will be the first premiere of “Dark Room Exposure” for Serbian audience.
The three vignettes portray an intertwined emotional life conflict of both community and individual, intertwined with diversity of ethnic groups, from American Indigenous peoples to the Balkan people, presented in a web of modern play, “Speakeasy” – cabaret, provocative satire, rock and roll music.
